Obituary of Mary D. Warren
Mrs. Mary D. Keener Warren, widow of Rev. James Warren, of Lewisville, AR, formerly of Magnolia, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Texarkana, TX. She was seventy-four.
Mother Warren was born June 17, 1945 to the late L.C. and Lila Mae Webster Keener in the Freehope Community. Mary had a gentle and sweet spirit and a deep love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Those attributes served her well as she labored beside her husband in God’s vineyard. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with the family and friends that she loved so much. In her presence, there were no such things as strangers.
She leaves cherished memories with her five sons: Clifton Ray Warren of McKinney, TX, Robert Earl Warren of Duncanville, TX, Michael Charles Warren of Rockwall, TX, Marcus Wayne Warren of Emerson, AR, and Timothy Warren of Lewisville, AR, one daughter: Patricia Warren Desso of Lewisville, AR, seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three brothers: Lawrence Keener, Marshall (Linda) Keener, and Charles (Shirley) Keener, four sisters: Maggie Francis (Welcome) Warren, Helen Keener, Linda Easter, and Bobbie (Napoleon) Muex, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all of the thoughtfulness and kindnesses that have been shown them throughout this time and request that everyone would adhere to the social distancing practices that are in place due to the COVID 19 Pandemic. There will be a public viewing from noon until 4 p.m. at the Henderson’s Mortuary Chapel on Friday, May 22, 2020. Mrs. Warren will be laid to rest following a private family service. The family deeply appreciates your understanding and prayers.
