Obituary of Norris Guilford

Mr. Norris Guilford, 87, of Magnolia, passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born June 27, 1933, in Buffalo, NY, to William and Ersia Sconiers Guilford. He married Mattie McDowell, of Emerson, AR. Norris served his country honorably in United States Marine Corp. After making his home in Magnolia he joined with the Southview Church of Christ. He loved God and family above all else. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Avery Guilford. He leaves cherished memories with his wife: Mattie McDowell Guilford of Magnolia, AR, one son: William J. Guilford of Maricopa, AZ, two daughters: Pamela Guilford of Signal Hill, CA, Angel Joyner of Benton, AR, and eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, at the Southview Church of Christ, 234 Fairview, Magnolia, AR, with Bro. Jeffers Jefferson, officiating. *Masks will be required for admittance, due to COVID-19. Interment will follow at 23rd Psalm Cemetery, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
