Obituary of Charles E. Stephens

Charles E. Stephens, age 66, of Waldo, AR, passed from this world on Friday, June 12, 2020. Born August 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Theodore and the late Emma Curry Stephens. After graduating high school, Charles attended North Illinois University for a time. He worked as a forklift operator at Georgia Pacific before returning home to Arkansas. Charles was a man of faith and worshipped under the leadership of Pastor Maxwell of Spirit Led Ministries and Pastor Biddle of New Generation in Christ Ministries, before returning to his roots and Pastor Ross at Homes Near Missionary Baptist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Francine Baber Stephens, his parents, five brothers: William Kelly Stephens, Benjamin Stephens, Theodore Stephens, Charlie Stephens, and Rodney Stephens; and (2) Sisters, Mary Armstrong, and Doris Beasley. He leaves cherished memories with his son: Charles Stephens, one brother: Courtney Stephens of Waldo, and one sister: Delma Metcalf of Hazen, AR.
