Obituary of Vincent Ellis

Vincent Bernard "Road Dog" Ellis was born to Bernice Kimble and Freddie L.C. Ellis on February 16, 1964, in Magnolia, AR. He departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), in Little Rock, AR. He was 56. Vincent was a caring and giving person to everyone he met, and a devoted brother to his family. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and auto mechanics. He was known by many in the Calion, AR community as the "fisherman in the red car". Vincent was loved and will be missed by many. He attended Magnolia Public Schools. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Gail Gilbert-Ellis, his parents, a sister, Willie Lee Kimble and a brother, Roy Lee Walton. He leaves to cherish his memory:his children, Trustin (Shearita) Henderson, Marquittia Henderson, Brandon Tidwell, Stephen Smith, Terrell Carrington and Marcus Marshall, grandchildren: Nehemiah Henderson, Dontavious Burnell, Kelcia Johnson, Cedrick D. Tidwell, Tyra Tidwell, Terrell Carrington, Jr., Carrdell Carrington, and Dayaa Carrington, and one great-grandchild, one brother: Milton (Lois) Kimble of El Dorado, AR, two sisters: Debra Holmes of Woodbridge, VA and Felicia Ellis of Magnolia, AR, one uncle, John Ellis, three aunts: Frances Rose, Vernell Threadgill and a very special aunt, Alvern Jackson, nephews: James and Christian Holmes of Woodbridge, VA and Tarik Mallory of Magnolia, AR. He also leaves two special friends: Barbara Smith and Melvin McGraw, a cherished house dog names "Bubbles", and a host of relatives and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge with grateful appreciation the love, care and friendship provided by his friends Dale and Nela Lotz and the staff, doctors, and nurses at UAMS in Little Rock, AR and Cabun Clinic in Hampton, AR.
