Obituary of Clara Robinson

Mrs. Clara Robinson, age 95, died Friday, May 1, 2020, at the Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place, in Magnolia, AR. Mrs. Clara was the eighth of thirteen (13) children born to the union of the late Mack "MC" Hampton, Sr. and the late Emma Lee (Evans) Hampton. She was born August 10, 1924 at Haynesville, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Clara was predeceased by her her husband, her two (2) daughters: Gwendolyn Brown, and Jerrie Lynn Buffington, one great-grandson, Cameron Buffington, Jr., her parents, all of her siblings, eight (8) brothers: Monroe C., Curtis, Mack, Jr., Francis A., Earnest, Lannie, Alvin, and Roosevelt Hampton, and four (4) sisters: Mattie Norma, Effie H. Green, Essie H. Harvey, and Sally H. Fuller. She is survived by her grandchildren: Cameron Buffington, Daphanie Buffington, Sean Buffington and Gwendolyn (Michael) Lavine, great-grandchildren: James Jr., Johnathan, Davrick, Kameron, Taylor, Savonte, Karina, Josie, Nye, Thelmon, Ornaja, Sean, KeSean, Kayla and Ashonta, great-great-grandchildren: James III, Jaleel, Noah, Carter, Chrisiih, Janae, Londyn, Cheyenne, Naomi, and Saraii. Mrs. Clara was the center of her family and a pillar of her community. She was a gentle and caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There will be no public visitation. Due to the constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mrs. Robinson has been cremated. There will be a memorial held in her honor at a date to be announced.
