Obituary of Johnnie Williams

Deacon Johnnie Williams, age 101, of 861 Columbia 84, Magnolia died Friday, February 15, 2019 at home in Magnolia.  Deacon Williams was born May 10, 1917.  He was married to his beloved Obie Chappel Williams on November 21, 1936 and enjoyed eighty-one years of wedded bliss.

He was predeceased by his wife, Obie Chappel Williams, and three of their children: an infant daughter, Shirley Ann, and two sons, Sylvester and Roy Chester.

His memory will always be cherished by his children, four sons: Lee Morris Williams (Norine) of Dallas, TX, Dr. James Fred Williams (Trudie), Veodis Williams (Esther), and Ricky James Williams (Latricia), all of Magnolia and two daughters: Mildred Williams Morgan (Freddie) and Velma Kimble, both of Magnolia and a great host of grandchildren, great-granchildren, great-great-grandchildren,  great-great-great grandchildren, his sister, Maggie Madison, and a great many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
