Our dear dear Annie! I’m so very sorry to read of her passing. She worked for my mom and dad and then for my mom after my dad died. She was one of God’s angels on earth. I KNOW this to be true. She was the sweetest lady I ever had the privilege to call my friend. We loved her SO! I loved her hot water corn bread. I was in college here in Magnolia and I would ask her to make some for me for lunch. One day I asked her for the recipe and she said “there is no recipe!” So we made it - her using measuring cups and spoons ( she never used them when she made it) so that I could make it myself. I still have the recipe I wrote down that day. That was such a wonderfully shared time I had with her all to myself. She WAS LOVE! She never said a bad word about anyone. She was a gentle soft spoken soul. Even though I haven’t seen her or talked to her in years, I’m missing her terribly. But I’m comforted KNOWING she is with our Lord and Savior. I’m praying for all of her precious family. Karen

I wanna say I'm here y'all have always been family to me . I love all y'all I also love maw maw she will truly be missed I had so many memories growing up there , good memories all the food that was cooked in that household.
