Obituary of James Lewis Love

James Lewis Love, age 74, of Burnt Bridge Rd, Magnolia died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at home in Magnolia. Mr. Love was born March 2, 1942 in Lisbon, LA. He is the son of the late Columbus and the late Odell (Smith) Love. He married Lucretia Cooper on April 29, 2005. He served in the Air Force from Sept 6, 1963 to Aug 25, 1967. He was employed by Oil & Lube Express as an Oil Technician. Mr. Love was an Ordained Deacon and Sunday School Superintendant of the Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sheila Love. His firm but gentle spirit will be missed by his wife: Lucretia (Cooper) Love, two sons: Bennett Love, Spencer Love of Atlanta, GA , four daughters: Monica Love, Kokita Love, Lakendyra Cooper all of Magnolia, AR, Erica Brown of Arkadelphia, AR; one brother: Columbus Love of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Alma Butler of Houston, TX; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, February 13 at Columbia Baptist District Center, Youngblood Auditorium, 600 S. Madison, Magnolia, AR with Supt. Larry Roach officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Public viewing will be Monday, February 13 from 10 am until time of service at the auditorium, Magnolia, AR.
