Obituary of Earl Jack
Earl Jack, 95, of Taylor, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his home. Born in Taylor, Mr. Jack was the son of the late Alex Jack and the late Queenie Stinson Jack.
Mr. Jack was an United States Army Air Corp veteran, serving during WWII. After the war he made a living in the auto industry, working at General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, until he retired and returned to the South and home.
He will be greatly missed by many but none more than his son, Charles Jack of Springhill, LA, three nieces, Mattie Jack Curties, Flossmoor, IL, Wanda Hood, Minneapolis, MN, Dorothy Jack Salone, Taylor, AR; one nephew, Eddie Jack, Minneapolis, MN, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Public Visitation will be Friday , May 6, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at HENDERSON'S Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia. Online guestbook available at www.hendersonsmortuary.com.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Col Rd 243, Taylor, with afficiate Rev. J.C. Phillips. Burial with military honors to follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
