Obituary of Wilmer Page
Wilmer Page, age 93, of Rosston died Monday, August 10, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center of Arkadelphia, AR. Mr. Page was born April 14, 1922 in Willisville, AR. He is the son of the late Elbert and the late Susie (Coffman) Page. He married Lillie Pearl Sims in 1952.
He was self-employed in the construction sector as a concrete finisher. He served in the Army from April 30, 1941 until July 6, 1943. He was a Worshipful Master and a member of St. Mark Baptist Church, where he remained faithful until his health failed.
Mr. Page was predeceased by his wife of forty-two years, Lillie Pearl, and one son, Wilmer Page, Jr.
He is survived by five daughters: Lillie Marie (Roy) Johnson of Little Rock, AR, Hattie Marie Nolan of Milwaukee, WI, Joyce (Jimmy) Hawthorne of Tulsa, OK, Sherry Williams of Independence, MO, Joyce Banks of Rosston, AR and two sons: Willie (Dorothy) Page of Prescott, AR, Louis (Wanda) Page of Rosston, AR, twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 15 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Willisville, AR with Rev. Louis Page officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Willisville, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Visitation will be Friday, August 14 from noon until 4 pm at the funeral home.
