Obituary of Hershel Williamson

Hershel E. Williamson, age 78, of Magnolia died Monday, June 29, 2015 at Wadley Regional Medical Center at Texarkana, TX. Mr. Willliamson was born September 23, 1936 in Willisville, AR. He is the son of the late Elijah and the late Alice (McDuffy) Willliamson. He was self-employed, owning and operating the Exxon service station at the corner of highways 82 and 79 in Magnolia for many years. He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Williamson of Magnolia, AR, one son, Douglas Williamson of Junction City, KS, five grandchildren, one sister, Sue Hatter of Houston, TX, one brother, Gregory Williamson, his ex-wife and friend Virginia Williamson and a host of other relatives and friends . A graveside service will be held at 10 am Thursday, July 2, at 23 Psalm Cemetery, Columbia Rd 30, Magnolia, AR with Rev. J. C. Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from noon-4 and a wake will be held from 6-7 pm Wednesday, July 1 at the funeral home, 614 Calhoun Rd., Magnolia, AR. Online guestbook available at www.hendersonsmortuary.com.
