Obituary of Jr. Easter

William Easter, Jr., age 103, of Emerson, AR, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Homer Memorial Hospital in Homer, LA. Mr. Easter was born May 10, 1910 in the Atlanta community of Emerson. He is the son of the late William and the late Camilla (Beal) Easter. He worked cutting and hauling timber during his active years. He is survived by one daughter: Alberta Robinson, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon until 4 on Friday, February 7, at Henderson's Mortuary, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8 at Mt. Israel CME Church, Hwy 98, Emerson, AR with Rev. Gladys Fields officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Israel Cemetery under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service.
