Obituary of Freddie Louise Utsey

Freddie Louise Utsey, age 71, of 905 Fort Lookout Manor, Camden died Monday, November 12, 2012 at home in Camden. Mrs. Utsey was born October 22, 1941 in Camden, AR. She is the daughter of the late Freeman and the late Mildred (Roberson) McCoy. Mother Utsey united with Union A.M.E. Church in Chidester, AR at an early age. Later in life, she united with New Haven Baptist Church, Camden and remained faithful there for as long as her health allowed. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Darlene Jones (David), McGregor, TX, Arlene Graham (Herbert), Smackover, Tonja (Kay) Beasley, Camden; four sisters: Ora Lee Utsey, Camden, Margaret Blake (Curtis), Hot Springs, Fania Macklin (Lorenza), Lawrenceville, VA, Patricia McCoy, Pine Bluff; one brother, James Leon (Lois), Cleveland, OH; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, at the New Haven Baptist Church, 336 Stewart St, Camden, AR. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 p.m. until time of service only.
