Obituary of Freddie "L.C." Ellis

Freddie "L.C." Ellis, age 85, of 1322 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at home in Magnolia. Mr. Ellis was born May 29, 1927 in Magnolia, AR. He is the son of the late Finis and the late Leonia (Cook) Ellis. Mr. Ellis united with the St. Luke Baptist Church. He was a well- known mechanic, who was caring and giving to everyone he met. Brother Ellis was loved and will be missed by many; among those his very special house dog "Bubbles". He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lynn Ellis and Frank Ellis and a sister, Elmina Ellis. He is survived by two daughters: Felicia Ellis of Magnolia, AR, Debra Holmes of Woodbridge, VA and two sons: Vincent Ellis of Magnolia, AR, Milton (Lois) Kimble of El Dorado, AR; four sisters: Josie Griffin of Gardena, CA, Vernell Threadgill, Frances Rose, Alvern Jackson and one brother: John(Earnestine) Ellis all of Magnolia, AR; He also has three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. granddaughter, Marquttia Henderson of Magnolia, AR; grandson, Trustin (Shearita) Henderson of Magnolia, AR; grandson, Tarik Mallory of Magnolia, AR; great grandson, Nehemiah Henderson of Magnolia, AR; great grandson, Dontavious Burnell of Little Elm , TX; great granddaughter, Kelcia Johnson of Magnolia, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, October 12, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at the A. C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia, AR, on Saturday, October 13, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in 23 Psalms Cemetery, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. www.hendersonsmortuary.com
