Obituary of Gloria Jean Manning
Sis. Gloria Manning, of Magnolia, crossed from time into eternity on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at St. Michaels Hospital, Texarkana, TX. Born January 29, 1955, in Magnolia, Gloria was the daughter of the late JW and the late Peggie Adair Manning. She never married.
She as a graduate of Magnolia High School and worked as a final finisher at Amfuel until she retired. Gloria was predeceased by her parents and one brother, John I. Manning.
Gloria leaves cherished memories with eight brothers: Johnny W. Manning, Willie B. Manning (Betty), Willie L. Manning, James Manning, Lonnie Manning (Sue), Donnie Manning, Connell Manning (Melinda), CL Manning (Jeanette), five sisters: Betty Davis of Stephens, Billie Jean Payne of Baltimore, MD, Irma Wyrick, Flossie Paschal of Magnolia, Debra Manningof Kansas City, MO; three Uncles: Rance Adair of Camden, Oscar Adair and Miller Adair of Stephens five aunts: Gertie Manning, Nelving Green, Girlvie Grissom of Magnolia, Nancy Adair, Mary Adair of Stephens, and a great host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Henderson's Mortuary from noon until 4. Funeral services will be at the AC Henderson Memorial Chapel at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 17. Burial will follow at Kings Hill Cemetery, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service, www.hendersonsmortuary.com.
