Obituary of John Willie Allen

John Willie Allen, age 65, of Rosston, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home. Mr. Allen was born January 2, 1951 in Rosston, AR. He is the son of the late Will and the late Nurlean (Williams) Allen. John was a retired industrial work supervisor and co-owner of J. Allen Logging Company. He was a member of Mt. Zinia Missionary Baptist Church in Stephens, AR. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel M. Allen, his parents, two brothers and one sister. He leaves with cherished memories, his children, John E. Allen of Camden, Shephard J. Green and Pamela D. Fields both of Stephens, Shanika Allen Griffin of Pearl, MS, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one brother, David P. Allen of Prescott. Funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the A. C. Henderson Memorial Chapel, 614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia. Burial will follow in Mt. Zinia Cemetery, Stephens, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Service. Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
